Education of health care providers
to screen patients for guns in the home & inform patients of the attendant
risks if guns are in the home. |

Training sessions for clinicians
in recognizing and supporting youngsters at risk as victims or perpetrators
of firearm injury. |

Provide speakers on incidence of
guns, related injuries and deaths and prevention strategies. |

|
Collaboration with area organizations
to advocate for firearm safety legislation and to educate the public on
gun safety issues. |
